Mictlantecuhtli or "Lord of the Land of the Dead" was the Aztec god of death and worshiped throughout Mesoamerica. He ruled the underworld (Mictlán) with his wife Mictecacíhuatl. The god was the ruler of the 10th day Itzcuintli (Dog), the 5th Lord of the Night, and the 6th (or 11th) Lord of the Day. He was the equivalent of the Mayan god Yum Cimil, the Zapotec god Kedo, and the god Tarascan Tihuime. Mictlantecuhtli was closely related to owls, spiders and bats and to the south direction.

Based on the prehistoric Lord of the land of dead, we bring you 15 Shamans who will cast their spell to bring back the life from the dead on January 25th in the first super release of the label, compiled by our talented DJ GrooveMoon.
